Your article, in some ways it’s true, but it depends on what kind job you’re going to do and what you want in australia. I now live in WA and work for the local government; have seen about 10 taiwanese working holiday backpackers this year. Most of them are here for so called experience and surely, make money. One of them is good at English and wants to stay here longer, or should I say find an australian boyfriend and maybe get married to obtain australian passport. Australia is a good place to make money when you are single and young because you don’t need to pay for mortgage and medical insurance. Life of backpackers and life to live here for midium to long term is totally different. Australia is a dangerous country with certain degree of discrimination. You need to know someone locally in australia. I support people to try hard to achieve their dreams but you need to know what you want and plan first.
